In New Haven County, the Eli Whitney Technical High School was placed into lockdown shortly before 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7, when state police investigators alerted the district about a possible threat to the building.
The latest incident comes a day after a similar threat was made at Eli Whitney and three Connecticut high schools received similar threats.
State and local police responded to the school and are investigating. The nature of the threat has not been disclosed.
No additional information has been released by school or law enforcement officials.
